Hartford faced Middlebury in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Hurricanes strolled past the Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 28-13. The Hurricanes' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Hartford's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Middlebury, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hartford is set to challenge their familiar foe Burr & Burton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Hurricanes 9.6, the Bulldogs 13.2) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Middlebury will square off against rival Mount Anthony at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
