Baseball Recap: North Cobb Comes Up Short

North Cobb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 9-2 to the Etowah Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 16-1 loss on Friday.

North Cobb's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Etowah, their win was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1.

Looking ahead, North Cobb will host Harrison at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. As for Etowah, they will face off against Walton at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. Walton will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Etowah surely won't give up without a fight.
