Football Recap: Mora Comes Up Short

Mora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 26-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hibbing Bluejackets. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejackets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Mora's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hibbing, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mora will host Pequot Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots' defense has only allowed 6.6 points per game this season, so the Mustangs' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Hibbing, they will welcome Duluth East at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
