Soccer Recap: Swainsboro Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Swainsboro was not quite Savannah Christian's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 1-0. Morgan Terry was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Swainsboro's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Savannah Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Swainsboro didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Bryan County on the 10th. As for Savannah Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 win against Vidalia on the 10th.
