Volleyball Recap: Monroe Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Monroe Central came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Northeastern Knights. The Golden Bears have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-21.

Hadley Hendrickson paced Monroe Central's offense, picking up eight kills. Hendrickson got some help from Bentley Pegg and her 22 assists. Mckenna Murphy controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Monroe Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Northeastern, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Monroe Central will head out to square off against Hagerstown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northeastern, they will challenge Richmond at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
