The Monroe Central Golden Bears volleyball squad (Parker City, IN), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN)

With the win, Northeastern improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Wapahani (Selma, IN) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Wapahani won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Wes-Del (Gaston, IN)

The Golden Bears now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hagerstown for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Monroe Central will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Triton Central (Fairland, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 4-2.
