Preview: Burlingame Panthers vs. Menlo School Knights
Having just played yesterday, the Burlingame Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Menlo School Knights at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. Burlingame will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, Burlingame was able to grind out a solid win over Woodside, taking the game 47-34. Given Burlingame's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 429th, while Woodside is ranked 940th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Menlo School suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Pinewood, falling 71-26. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Menlo School has scored all season.
Burlingame's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6. As for Menlo School, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
Burlingame strolled past Menlo School in their previous meeting back in December of 2021 by a score of 50-33. Will Burlingame repeat their success, or does Menlo School have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
