Calvary Christian was the 6-1 winner over Lakeside School when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Calvary Christian Knights fell just short of the Lakeside School Chiefs by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Calvary Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tripp Ellison, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. That RBI was Ellison's first of the season.

Calvary Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lakeside School, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season.

Calvary Christian will challenge Westfield School at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Westfield School has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
