Pitman has gone a perfect 10-0 against Modesto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pride will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Pitman's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Tuesday, Pitman didn't have quite enough to beat Downey and fell 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Pitman came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 185th, while Downey are ranked 542nd).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Modesto took on Gregori on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Jaguars, falling 13-0.

Pitman's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-2. As for Modesto, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10-1.

Pitman got the 'W' when the teams last played back in January against Modesto by a conclusive 12-0 score. Will the Pride repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
