Creekside is a perfect 5-0 against Drew since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Creekside will head out on the road to face off against Drew at 5:55 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses for Creekside and 23 for Drew dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Creekside came up short against M.L. King and fell 8-3.

TAKEEVIUS THORTON was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. CAMERON MCCRARY was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Even though they lost, Creekside was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Drew fell victim to Pace Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 22-0.

Creekside's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Drew, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Creekside took their victory against Drew when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Creekside since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
