Bedford is 7-2 against Ellet since August of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bearcats will square off against the Orangemen at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Bedford's offense. They fell 2-0 to Cornerstone Christian on Saturday. Bedford have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Ellet also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 3-0 to Garfield last Thursday. Jadon Simpkins was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Ellet's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-4. As for Bedford, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1.

Bedford was able to grind out a solid victory over Ellet in their previous matchup back in August, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
