Soccer Recap: Placer Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Placer was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Del Campo Cougars could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Placer's draw gives them a new season record of 1-2-1. As for Del Campo, they moved theirs to 3-4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Placer won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on Twelve Bridges at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Del Campo will take on Nevada Union in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Del Campo's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
