Baseball Recap: Orange Beach Comes Up Short

Orange Beach might've scored the first runs on Thursday, but it was Dothan who claimed the real prize. The Makos fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 4-3. The Makos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brayden Hood and Ward Hickman stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hood got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI, while Hickman went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Orange Beach now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dothan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Orange Beach will be playing in front of their home fans against Gulf Shores at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dothan, they will square off against Smiths Station at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
