There's no place like home for Maret, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 71-56 victory over the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers on Thursday. The Frogs haven't had any issues with the Mighty Hoppers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Peter McManus and Arjun Bhargava certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. McManus went 6-for-13 on his way to 16 points, while Bhargava shot 50% from the field en route to 13 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Khalin Patel, who posted seven points.

Maret's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Georgetown Day, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Maret and Severn School will compete for holiday cheer at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Georgetown Day, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Saint James at 4:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
