Soccer Recap: Southwest Dekalb Comes Up Short at Home Against Stephenson

Southwest DeKalb unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Stephenson Jaguars on Monday, falling 6-2. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwest DeKalb will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Druid Hills at 7:30 p.m. on February 28th. As for Stephenson, they will venture away from home to square off against Cross Keys at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
