Le Mars waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Carroll Tigers. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Le Mars' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 30-9. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Carroll, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-27.

Le Mars didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Sergeant Bluff-Luton on the 12th. Carroll does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
