Basketball Recap: Meadowbrook Christian Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Meadowbrook Christian won the last time they faced Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, and Madalyn Fasnacht did her part to make sure it happened again. Meadowbrook Christian claimed a resounding 33-2 victory over the Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Rams thanks in part to Fasnacht, who went 8 of 11 on her way to 17 points and eight steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Meadowbrook Christian's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Emma George, who posted two points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Meadowbrook Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.6 points per game. As for Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, they are on a 32-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Meadowbrook Christian will host South Williamsport at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, they will head out to take on Neumann Regional Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
