Baseball Recap: Seckinger's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Seckinger entered their tilt with Hebron Christian on Tuesday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Hebron Christian Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Jaguars also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.

Shia Carnish looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single hits every time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Seckinger got a big performance out of Andrew Carr, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Carr a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was EJ Hannah, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

Seckinger's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Hebron Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seckinger will venture away from home to challenge Union Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Seckinger's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Union Grove's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hebron Christian, they will face off against Providence Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
