Soccer Recap: Jordan Find Success

Jordan was not the first on the board on Wednesday, but they got there more often. They beat the Dymally Challengers by a goal, winning 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

Luz Gonzalez and Remy Orea scored both of Jordan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

The win made it two in a row for Jordan and bumps their season record up to 4-7. As for Dymally, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will venture away from home to take on Dorsey at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dorsey will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Jordan surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dymally, they will head out on the road to challenge George Washington Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. George Washington Prep knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Dymally likes a good challenge.
