Preview: Los Osos Grizzlies vs. Buena Park Coyotes
Two dominant guards in Jackie Polk and Gloria Barrera are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Los Osos Grizzlies will take on the Buena Park Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
With a playoff game on the line, Los Osos rose to the challenge on Thursday. They took down the Warriors 71-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Los Osos.
In what's become a running theme this season, Buena Park gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 79-41 victory over Poly at home. The win was just what Buena Park needed coming off of a 82-42 loss in their prior matchup.
Los Osos is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Buena Park, they pushed their record up to 20-9 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
