Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Concord). They came out on top against the Lake Norman Charter Knights by a score of 76-66 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spiders also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Despite the loss, Lake Norman Charter still got an impressive performance from Collin McConneyhead, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 21 points along with six assists and three steals. Isaiah Carter was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and ten boards.

The win (which was Concord's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2. As for Lake Norman Charter, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Concord will face off against Forest Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Norman Charter, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against South Point at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
