The Calvary Baptist Cougars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past The Grove School 53-11 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Calvary Baptist has managed all season.
Kaylin Crewse had a dynamite game for Calvary Baptist, dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Crewse has scored at least a third of Calvary Baptist's points. Aubrey Gelskey was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine rebounds and ten steals.
Calvary Baptist is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. As for The Grove School, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Calvary Baptist will head out on the road to take on the Bears at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday. Packinghouse Christian Academy will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. The Grove School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
