Glynn Academy had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Statesboro Blue Devils an 11-0 shutout. Considering the Terrors have won eight contests by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Glynn Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Statesboro, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glynn Academy will face off against Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Statesboro, they will challenge Screven County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
