Cypress Christian put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Bishop Reicher Catholic Cougars 49-24. 49 seems to be a good number for the Warriors as the  team scooped up a  victory with the same number of  points in their previous game.
A big part of Cypress Christian's  win came down to the chemistry between  Brayden Dawson and his top target  Brian Broadus II. Dawson threw for 109 yards and three  TDs while  Broadus II rushed for 90 yards and a pair of  touchdowns. Broadus II was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 57 yards.  Dean Mestayer was in the mix  as well, providing Cypress Christian with one score.
 Cypress Christian was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 252  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 235  rushing yards in four consecutive  contests.
  Aiden Hays and  Paxton Ready certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss.  Hays rushed for 103 yards and three  touchdowns on only 12 carries, while  Ready rushed for 127 yards.
Cypress Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Bishop Reicher Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
 Cypress Christian has already played their next game,  a  35-21  win against McKinney Christian Academy on the 17th. As for Bishop Reicher Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  42-6  loss against Sacred Heart on the 17th.
