Soccer Game Preview: Cloverdale vs. Roseland University Prep

Cloverdale hasn't had much luck against Roseland University Prep recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cloverdale Eagles will face off against the Roseland University Prep Knights at 5:30 p.m.

Cloverdale fell victim to Sonoma Academy and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Coyotes, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 943rd, while the Coyotes are ranked 157th).

Meanwhile, Roseland University Prep and Kelseyville finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Saturday.

Roseland University Prep's draw makes their record 5-1-3 this season. As for Cloverdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7-1.

Cloverdale suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Roseland University Prep in their previous matchup on January 14th. Can Cloverdale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
