Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lincoln County walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over the Pelham Hornets on Monday. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by eight runs or more this season.

Kylah Turner was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in September. Aysha Elam was another key player, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Lincoln County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory made it two in a row for Lincoln County and bumps their season record up to 11-14. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Pelham, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season.

Lincoln County will have a chance to go back-to-back against Pelham: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
