Basketball Recap: Firebaugh Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Firebaugh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 31-30 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mariposa County Grizzlies. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Firebaugh's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mariposa County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Firebaugh will welcome Madera South at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mariposa County, they and Tournament Opponent will face off on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
