Baseball Recap: South Gwinnett Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

South Gwinnett played against Luella on Tuesday and won via forfeit.

With the victory, South Gwinnett broke their 15-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-16. As for Luella, they moved to 11-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, South Gwinnett is taking a road trip to take on Jackson County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Comets are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Luella, they have already played their next game, a 26-0 win against Cedar Grove on the 2nd.
