Football Recap: Elk River Elks vs. Monticello Magic
Elk River extended their postseason success on Saturday against Monticello. They walked away with a 36-29 win over the Monticello Magic. Winning may never get old, but the Elks sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Gavin Schmidt continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 115 yards and three touchdowns. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making ten total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception. Levi Harris was in the mix as well, providing Elk River with two touchdowns.
