Volleyball Recap: Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Comes Up Short

The Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers came up short against the Dowagiac Chieftains on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12.

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic's offense was headlined by Vivien Mcloughlin and Jenna Jasheway, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Allison Hemmerly and her five assists.

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Dowagiac, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-12-2.

Coming up, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Mendon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Dowagiac, they will head out to challenge Paw Paw at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
