Basketball Game Preview: Upper Merion Area Vikings vs. Upper Perkiomen Indians

The Upper Merion Area Vikings will take on the Upper Perkiomen Indians at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Upper Merion Area was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-49 to Pottsgrove. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Upper Perkiomen). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 victory over Norristown on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Upper Merion Area's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Upper Perkiomen, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.

Everything came up roses for Upper Merion Area against Upper Perkiomen when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 52-21 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Upper Merion Area since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
