Soccer Recap: Bassett Comes Up Short

Bassett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Ganesha Giants, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, the Olympians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1151st, while the Giants are ranked 552nd).

Bassett's loss dropped their record down to 3-13-1. As for Ganesha, they pushed their record up to 10-2-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bassett has already played their next game (against Workman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ganesha has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Pomona.
