Baseball Recap: Bellaire Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Bellaire entered their tilt with Pellston on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Hornets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-3 on Monday.

Bellaire saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Balko, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. Balko has become a key player for the Eagles: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-5 otherwise. Another was Dawson Dewey, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Bellaire now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Pellston, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Looking ahead, Bellaire will take on East Jordan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pellston, they will face off against Brimley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
