Soccer Recap: St. Patrick Comes Up Short

They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Metea Valley Mustangs. That's two games in a row now that St. Patrick have lost by just one goal.

St. Patrick's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Metea Valley, they moved to 5-10 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

St. Patrick didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Marist on the 30th. As for Metea Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against Naperville Central on the 30th.
