Basketball Recap: Faith Baptist Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Faith Baptist lost to Lancaster Baptist back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Faith Baptist Contenders took down the Lancaster Baptist Eagles 40-25. Winning may never get old, but the Contenders sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Kaelyn Hilmo was nothing short of spectacular: she posted 15 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna Ramirez, who earned eight points and seven steals.

Faith Baptist smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in nine consecutive matchups.

Faith Baptist is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points per game. As for Lancaster Baptist, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
