Basketball Recap: Alamance Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Alamance Christian was the 47-30 winner over Union Grove Christian when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 38-37 to the Patriots. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Calvin Miller was his usual excellent self, going 6-for-11 to rack up 14 points for Union Grove Christian. Another player making a difference was Ethan Smith, who shot 45% from the field en route to 12 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Alamance Christian and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Union Grove Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Alamance Christian has already played their next matchup, a 60-19 victory against Thales Academy Flowers Plantation on the 5th. As for Union Grove Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 53-48 win against Georgia Force Christian on the 4th.
