Basketball Recap: Drew Takes a Loss

Drew was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 32-27 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sonoma Academy Coyotes. The Dragons were not able to make up for their loss to the Coyotes from their previous meeting back in December of 2015.

Drew's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Sonoma Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Looking ahead, Drew will be playing at home against Gateway at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sonoma Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Victory Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
