Soccer Game Preview: El Toro vs. Dana Hills

The El Toro Chargers will square off against the Dana Hills Dolphins at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

El Toro is headed into the contest having not lost since January 2 and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Beckman onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Tuesday. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Patriots are ranked 416th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Dana Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to Tesoro.

El Toro is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-3-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six games. As for Dana Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12-2.

El Toro was able to grind out a solid win over Dana Hills in their previous meeting back in January, winning 2-0. Does El Toro have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dana Hills turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
