Davenport came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Kellyville Ponies. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Davenport's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Kellyville, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Looking ahead, Davenport will square off against Woodland at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kellyville, they will host Okmulgee at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Ponies are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
