The Brandywine Heights Area Bullets had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victor by a 47-22 margin over Pottstown.
Addison Benner was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 19 points along with 7 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Potteiger, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 blocks.
Brandywine Heights Area's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Pottstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Brandywine Heights Area will head out on the road to face off against Pottsgrove at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pottstown, they will be playing at home against Upper Darby at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
