Softball Recap: Southmoore Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mustang, Southmoore was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs 8-2. The result was nothing new for the SaberCats, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Southmoore has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Edmond Memorial, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10.

Looking ahead, Southmoore will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Owasso at 7:00 p.m. As for Edmond Memorial, they will head out to square off against Edmond North at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
