Softball Recap: Granite Comes Up Short

Granite lost against Leedey back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Granite fell just short of Leedey by a score of 2-1.

Granite's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Leedey, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Coming up, Granite will head out on the road to take on Arnett at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.82 runs per game on average), something Granite will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Leedey, they will host Seiling at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
