River City has gone a perfect 4-0 against Elk Grove recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Raiders are taking a road trip to challenge the Thundering Herd at 6:00 p.m.

River City is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against McClatchy two weeks ago. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Elk Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Park. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Elk Grove couldn't quite close it out.

River City's draw makes their record 2-4-1 this season. As for Elk Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1.

River City beat Elk Grove 2-0 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
