Softball Recap: Maud Comes Up Short

Maud was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 17-0 to the Asher Indians. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Maud's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Asher, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Asher beat Maud by a score of 12-0 later that day.
