Basketball Recap: La Salle Beats Flintridge Prep for Their 12th Straight Victory

Flintridge Prep came into Saturday's game looking for another win against La Salle, but Casey Higgins wouldn't allow it. The La Salle Lancers came out on top against the Flintridge Prep Wolves by a score of 54-44 on Saturday thanks in part to Higgins, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 18 boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game.

The win (which was La Salle's 12th in a row) raised their record to 15-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Flintridge Prep, with the loss, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-1.

La Salle and Sierra Canyon will round out the year against one another at at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Sierra Canyon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully La Salle likes a good challenge.
