Softball Recap: Clarke Central Takes a Loss

Clarke Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Habersham Central Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in August.

Clarke Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Habersham Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Clarke Central will challenge rival Jackson County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Habersham Central is set to face off against their familiar foe Loganville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
