Football Recap: Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Comes Up Short

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Thunderbirds fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 24-22 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Thunderbirds in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3.
