Soccer Game Preview: Coshocton vs. Beaver Local

The Coshocton Redskins will square off against the Beaver Local Beavers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Coshocton's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Coshocton fell victim to Tri-Valley and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Scotties. That's two games in a row now that Coshocton have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Beaver Local came up short against Salem on Tuesday and fell 4-2.

Talon Strickland and Kaden Mays scored both of the Beavers' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Coshocton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11-2. As for Beaver Local, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5-2.
