Basketball Recap: Tolsia Comes Up Short

Tolsia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Dawson-Bryant Hornets, falling 49-28. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Rebels came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 91st in West Virginia, while the Hornets are ranked 362nd in Ohio).

Tolsia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Dawson-Bryant, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tolsia will challenge Buffalo at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Buffalo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season. As for Dawson-Bryant, they will face off against Rock Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Dawson-Bryant is facing Rock Hill at the right time seeing as Rock Hill is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
