Football Recap: Kent County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Kent County extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to eight on Monday, dropping them down to 0-5. They were dealt a 56-6 defeat at the hands of the Queen Anne's County Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 45-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Queen Anne's County, they now have a winning record of 3-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Queen Anne's County found their leader in sophomore Colton Starlings, who threw for 150 yards and four TDs on perfect 5-for-5 passing. Starlings' superb passer rating of 177.1 also marked a new season-high.

Coming up, Kent County will take on Cambridge-South Dorchester at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Queen Anne's County, they will challenge Easton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Warriors' defense has only allowed 9.2 points per game this season, so the Lions' offense will have their work cut out for them.
